The Main Pools are the most frequented by visitors to Halfway Hot Springs.  The are three larger pools here that vary in temperature depending on the time of year and water levels but all three almost always maintain a very comfortable temperature year round.

The top pool, located closest to the change facility, is about 24" deep and was build with rock seating all around the perimeter.  The bottom consists of very small gravel/sand from the surrounding rock.

The open air pool below is deeper at around 36" deep with similar construction as the main pool; comfortable rock seating all around the perimeter and a soft sandy bottom.

The pool under the cedars is the shallowest at about 16" deep - perfect for lounging or laying in.  It's nicely shaded in the spring and summer with the cedars overhanging above and the bottom is more silty.
