Road and weather conditions can change at any time. In winter, we recommend that you park at the bottom of Halfway River FSR and either hike or snowshoe in. Attempting to drive a vehicle to Halfway is not only not recommended, it can damage the path for cross country skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobilers. Keep this in mind and be courteous to all visitors.
